Purpose: Serves as a top-level application expert and functional leader for strategic/complex/ initiatives and ensures the success of enterprise-level application solutions. Has primary responsibility for architecting solutions for a variety of enterprise application initiatives and aligning these solutions with OSU Physician’s overall administrative mission and direction. Ensures collaboration with Medical Center counterparts, as applicable, so initiatives are properly communicated and aligned with the enterprise, where necessary.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other technical field or equivalent amount of schooling and work experience. Minimum of four years of prior experience fourth-generation programming languages and/or experience with machine learning. Ability to realize the "Global" outcome or as part of a team, work creatively and be well organized. Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, under specific deadlines. Experience working in a team environment with a diverse group of employees, managers, and outside parties.
Preferences: Experience with healthcare applications, including medical billing or scheduling software. Master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
