Looking to join and lead a dynamic team at Ohio State University Physicians where excellence meets compassion!? We are currently seeking a Physician Recruiting Sourcer.

 

The Physician Recruiting Sourcer is responsible for proactively identifying and engaging top Physician and Advanced Practice Provider candidates to support our recruitment efforts. The ideal candidate will be passionate about healthcare recruiting and possess a deep understanding of physician career paths, trends in the medical field, and the dynamics of healthcare recruiting.

 

We are currently authorized to employ candidates from the following states:

Ohio, Indiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, Louisiana, Georgia, Alabama or Nebraska.

Responsibilities

Purpose:  

Uses industry knowledge and sourcing expertise to maintain a pipeline of experienced candidates for Physician and Advanced Practice Provider roles. Develops sourcing strategies to identify and attract potential talent, focusing on passive candidates. Independently plan and accomplish sourcing goals using experience and judgment

 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies for Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers
  • Use a range of methods, including social networking, mining industry contacts, attracting referrals, and attending events to attract potential talent, with an emphasis on experienced, passive candidates
  • Build and maintain networks through professional groups, industry contacts, and current employees to expand talent pool
  • Make initial contact with candidates to develop excellent relationships and deliver high-quality, engaged candidates to Physician Recruiter
  • Recommend proactive strategies to address recruiting challenges and improve recruitment outcomes
  • Use Applicant Tracking System to track metrics to assess progress towards recruiting goals
  • Ensure all recruiting activities align with state and federal regulations, as well as industry best practices
  • Other duties or special projects as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of:

  • HR principles, employment law, and industry best practices
  • Variety of word processing and spreadsheet software applications (MS Word, Excel).
  • Deep understanding of a variety of sourcing methods

Skills in:

  • Time management, Organization, and prioritization
  • Handling sensitive and confidential information, including interacting with poise, tact, and diplomacy at all levels of the organization

Abilities to:

  • Develop sourcing strategies to attract passive candidates
  • Succeed in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment

Qualifications

Requirements:   

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 years previous experience in physician, APP, or executive recruiting
  • Some travel may be necessary to community hospital sites, conferences, and other recruiting events
  • Ability to communicate with candidates outside of regular business hours

Preferences:  Experience working with digital and social media recruitment.

Pay Range

USD $63,130.00 - USD $94,695.00 /Yr.
