Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Department or Corporate leader or preceptor, the MHA Student will work on a variety of directed and/or self-directed projects focused on physician practice operations which may include clinical operations, finance, information systems, human resources, compliance, billing and coding, and access.  Such projects will help provide the student with greater in-depth experiences into physician practice management in support of their overall education and training.

 

Qualifications

Part-time or full-time University or College level student at undergraduate or master’s level status required. This position necessitates a minimum of 8 – 12 hours per week. Evidence of organization and problem solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Work effectively with individuals, patients, physicians and team. Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.

 

Preferences:    Experience in a medical setting and under graduate degree preferred

Pay Range

USD $20.00 - USD $20.00 /Hr.
