Responsibilities

  • Under the direction and guidance from Outreach & Communications team manager in collaboration with department chair; coordinates content, layouts and production of departmental publications including materials for physicians, illustrations for research grants and publications, services and events, newsletters, and social media posts; and videos to increase positive exposure and consistent quality in departmental initiatives. 
  • Ensures accuracy of department website in all aspects including research, education, and clinical care by updating text and photos, adding new pages, and streamlining current pages to expand the use for our patients, staff, learners, and benefactors. 
  • Designs invitations and materials for department events, signage, and donor marketing; coordinates development annual updates to the lobby donor wall display properly acknowledging and recognizing Annual Honor Roll and the Havener Society donors onsite and online.  
  • Provides photography services as well as photography coordination for events, publications, and digital artwork; provides internal photography for events, publications, and website. 
  • Develops internal research recruitment materials including flyers, website updates, creates illustrations for research grants and publications, and newsletter content 
  • Plans social media campaigns in conjunction with OSU Marketing campaigns.  
  • Works with the team to create posts on multiple social media accounts; updates information and publications for department lobby display table that embraces our educational legacy, generous benefactors, and current events 
  • Maintains and coordinates with the team a master physician and donor database used to create mailing lists; uses a Microsoft Teams file to track donor data in conjunction with the Stewardship and Annual Giving department contacts with TAS access. 
  • Leads quarterly referral physician events, 20/20 Seminars, and maintains master physician referral database.  
  • Acts as a liaison with promotional companies in creating/purchasing gifts for guests and donors of department events, and UniPrint in coordinating print production for marketing materials and publications 
  • Creates, designs, and implements development and outreach projects to recognize current grateful donors and attract potential future donors. 
  • Coordinates in person and virtual interactions with staff, faculty, administration, printers, website administrators, benefactors, event sponsors, and special guests.  
  • Engages in a goal-oriented environment to complete project work using technical skills assigned to the team member with the most knowledge of the task required 
  • Ability to perform functions using job-related software and systems. 
  • Travel may be required to accommodate staffing levels at multiple clinical facilities. 
  • Attendance, promptness, professionalism, the ability to pay attention to detail, cooperativeness with co-workers and supervisors, and politeness to customers, vendors, and patients. 
  • Other duties or special projects as assigned. 

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree or equivalent relevant education or experience. 
  • Computer skills with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite. 

Pay Range

USD $20.22 - USD $30.33 /Hr.
