OSU Physicians is seeking a highly collaborative and innovative Human Resources Operations Consultant to join our dynamic HR department. Responsibilities

About the Role

This role is an HR Consultant that supports HR Operations and Strategic Projects. This is a dynamic role that is responsible for bringing direct enhancement to Human Resources processes and, strategic initiatives that further the overall mission of our organization, and the HR department in achieving our mission to support the organization’s most valuable asset – it’s people. 

 

HR Strategic Projects

This role will play a crucial role in enhancing employee experience and streamlining HR processes. They propose creative ideas to improve the department operations, employee experience, and support the organization’s strategic goals.

  • Leads various HR projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and compliance with HR priorities.
  • Serves as a change management agent for the department and the organization, managing trainings, socialization of changes, communications and resources.
  • Serves as a liaison and representative of the HR department for internal and external stakeholders, leadership and vendors.

Compliance

This role takes ownership of executing routine HR compliance events such as postings, audits, and workflow reviews to ensure the organization remains compliant and all necessary items are fully and appropriately executed.

  • Reviews HR operational processes to ensure efficiency, compliance and best practice, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Support leadership in ensuring compliance is maintained throughout all areas of the HR department.
  • Reviews, coordinates feedback and executes routine evaluations and updates to the department’s standard operating procedures, process documentation, and service catalogs.

HR Operations

This role also supports all aspects of human resources operations and the employee lifecycle as needed. This position will complete various levels of work in the HR functional areas such as, but not limited to, total rewards, workforce learning, position management, recruitment and the overall employee experience.    

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Must have a bachelor degree and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources. Experience in Project Management, Operational Management, or Data Analytics is a plus.

  • Has superior communication skills with the ability to actively listen, communicate information across all levels of the organization and collaborate with others.
