Responsibilities

Purpose: The Senior HRIS Analyst serves as a subject matter expert (SME) related to HR systems and business processes, systems functionality, configuration and capabilities. This position will play a lead role in the implementation and support of systems initiatives and integrations and participate in vendor evaluations and assessments.

 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Administer and support HR systems to ensure accurate and efficient data processing. Applies technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues, collaborating with HR subject matter experts to develop effective solutions and address root cause issues.
  • Maintain and provide primary technical support for payroll, time and attendance, recruiting, and other human resource system-related software and applications, including integrating tools into public-facing internet sites
  • Monitor system problems and issue logs to identify concerns that can be resolved through programming enhancements.
  • Recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy, which must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation.
  • Perform builds for business & job structure, and for HRIS workflows including testing, editing/troubleshooting, configuration, and analysis
  • Create and maintain application documentation
  • Develop ad-hoc and custom reports using APIs
  • Maintain and provide primary support for HRIS-related integrations to and from third-party systems, third-party benefit providers and related registries and reporting requirements.
  • Identify and create process improvements to streamline the accumulation and processing of operational human resources data.
  • Participate, recommend, and implement security profiles and procedures appropriate for HRIS administration.
  • Participate, recommend, and implement procedures for employee onboarding, pre-hire technical issues, and process improvement initiatives for onboarding.
  • Support for open enrollment processes, implementation, and benefit support.
  • Perform as the primary lead for support calls through initial triage through to resolution, and coordinate technical enhancements, optimization, and maintenance work directly with vendor contacts.
  • Ability to perform functions using job-related peripheral software packages & systems.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Business Administration, or equivalent amount of education and work experience.
  • At least 5 years in systems administration/support, preferably specializing in Human Resource/Payroll platforms such as UKG or ADP

Preferences:

  • Previous experience with SQL reporting, Alteryx, and Qlik or a related data visualization environment.

 Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Experience in fielding application support issues and following through on reported problems to resolution. Strong written & oral communication skills, excellent analytical & problem-solving skills, and an ability to effectively organize & prioritize competing projects/tasks/problems. Able to work independently, with minimal supervision, or as part of a team, with tight deadlines. 

Pay Range

USD $58,849.00 - USD $88,274.00 /Yr.
