Responsibilities

The clinic supervisor position is an entry-level supervisory position that supports the patient care mission by carrying out clinical and administrative tasks in accordance with their scope of practice.  This position coordinates and oversees the operations of the clinic, coordinates day-to-day administrative and clinical operations within the clinic including but not limited to medical records management, patient scheduling and registration, insurance verification, and allocation of work to clinical staff. This role will also lead the onsite staff and be responsible for coaching, developing and maximizing the success of the clinic. This position requires exemplary attendance, punctuality, professionalism, the ability to pay attention to detail, cooperativeness with co-workers and supervisors, and politeness to customers, vendors, and patients.

  1. Helps educate other staff on the aesthetic options for their practice and trains new aesthetics staff and current on current aesthetic clinic offerings.
  2. Participates in development of the aesthetics program as directed by leadership. Works as the point person for the cosmetic and aesthetics patients who are seeking care included but not limited to: botox, filler, coolsculpting, and laser treatment. Answering questions and discussing options with the patient to ensure appropriate scheduling.
  3. Maintains liaison relationship with all levels of administration, physicians, patients and outside organizations to coordinate clinic business, accomplish directives and to facilitate resolution of problems. Supports the aesthetic surgeon and department practitioners.
  4. Provide surgical quotes, assists in scheduling and coordinate appointments, surgical cases, and in-office procedures. 
  5. Payment collection for surgical cases and in-clinic procedures.
  6. Supports clinic operations through the collection of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting data and the reporting of aesthetics operations and productivity metrics.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma and 3-5 years’ experience in medical office setting; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Working knowledge of EMR systems, Word and Excel. 
  • Ability to serve as liaison between management and staff. 
  • Skilled in problem solving, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to convey information both in writing and verbally. 
  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations while providing exceptional customer service. 
  • Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload. 

Preferences: 

  • Associates’ degree; working knowledge of EPIC; experience in related specialty practice area.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Base knowledge of aesthetics including injectables, lasers, cosmetic services, and products

Pay Range

USD $23.37 - USD $35.06 /Hr.
