Responsibilities

The Patient Services Associate is responsible for coordinating and providing patient support services at the check out desk. There are times when employee will need to float to other offices and might have to check in patients as well. 

  • Provide patient support like checking out quickly and efficiently.
  • Thinking ahead and scheduling patients out when they need to come back over the course of several months.
  • Being proactive in looking at schedules to fill gaps and move patients as needed.
  • Work on tasks such as phone calls, faxes, inbasket, emails and other assigned duties timely and efficiently.
  • Provide open and honest communication with patients, staff, providers and management.
  • Willing to help out in other areas within the office such as grabbing instruments, faxing for other team members. 
  • Being able to not only work as a team but independently as well.
  • Any other duties or tasks as sees fit by leadership. 

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One year of customer service experience
  • Skill in problem solving, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to convey information both in writing and verbally.
  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations while providing exceptional customer service. 

Pay Range

USD $16.59 - USD $24.89 /Hr.
