The Surgical Scheduler plays a critical role in ensuring seamless coordination of surgical services while working closely with patients, providers, and multidisciplinary teams across multiple care settings.

Surgical Scheduler Requirements:
High School diploma
2 or more years of experience in a healthcare environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strongly Preferred:
Epic Experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge and strong and efficient interpersonal, verbal, and written communication.
Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
Knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software (MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
