Overview

Launch your career in talent acquisition while making an immediate impact on the employee experience. As a Recruiting Specialist, you will manage a small portfolio of entry-level recruiting activities while serving as a key partner in the pre-boarding process. This role is ideal for an early-career HR or recruiting professional looking to develop recruitment expertise while building a strong foundation in talent acquisition operations, candidate engagement, and compliance.
 
In this role, you will support candidates and hiring teams from offer acceptance through start date, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience. You will also gain hands-on recruitment experience by supporting sourcing, candidate communication, interview coordination, and other talent acquisition initiatives under the guidance of the recruiting team.

Responsibilities

Purpose: Support the attraction, engagement and pre-boarding of talent by providing an exceptional candidate experience while developing recruitment expertise through direct involvement in talent acquisition activities and hiring processes

 

  • Manage a portfolio of entry-level and high-volume positions, supporting recruitment activities from requisition through hire.
  • Assist with candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and recruitment communications.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all candidates, providing guidance and support throughout the hiring and onboarding process.
  • Coordinate and track all pre-employment requirements, including background checks, screenings, verifications, and pre-boarding documentation for all of OSUP's hires.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure candidates are successfully onboarded and ready to begin employment.
  • Maintain accurate records in recruitment and HR systems while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support recruitment initiatives, reporting, career events, and process improvement efforts that enhance the candidate experience.

 

 

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • One (1) year of experience in human resources, recruiting, customer service, administrative support, healthcare operations, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, staffing, or talent acquisition activities preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Strong customer service mindset with a passion for creating a positive candidate experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn applicant tracking systems and HR technologies.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Pay Range

USD $22.00 - USD $28.00 /Hr.
